Malaika Kamanzi
Malaika Kamanzi is an undergraduate Political Sciences student at Western University in Canada. She was born in South Africa, spent part of her childhood in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and completed most of her schooling in Canada. Her academic interests include technology, social justice, politics, and geography. Kamanzi joined the Surviving Memory project because of its relevance, and hopes to learn alongside the team while contributing to its important work. In the future, Kamanzi aspires to pursue a career in international law and, eventually, politics. Beyond academics, she is passionate about community service, the arts, and languages, making this project an exciting opportunity.
