Emma Snare

Emma Snare is a fourth-year Honours undergraduate student at Western University (Canada), pursuing a double major in Media and Communications and Creative Arts and Production. In February 2025, she travelled to El Salvador as part of a field course, where she and her classmates worked closely with community members to explore how art, memory, and storytelling sustain collective resilience. This experience led to an internship with the Surviving Memory r project, where Emma contributed as part of a collaborative multimedia team. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue this work and looks forward to participating in upcoming projects. Snare is passionate about using media and collaborative art to honour lived experiences and amplify community voices.
