Bianca Moreno Rivera
Bianca Moreno is a specialist in French linguistics, with training in phonology and sociophonetics (PhD ABD, Western University, 2021–2025) and a master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign/Second Language (MA, University of the Antilles). With more than fifteen years of experience as a language instructor and translator, she has worked in rural and remote communities in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic, collaborating on community projects with social impact.
Between 2023 and 2025, she worked as a research assistant on the Surviving Memory project, where she contributed to transcription, translation, linguistic editing, and video editing. This experience strengthened her interest in applied research and the preservation of historical memory.
Currently, Bianca is building her career as a bilingual instructional designer in nonprofit organizations committed to inclusion and equity, aligning her professional work with her values of accessibility, diversity, and social engagement.
